On Thursday, March 5, Arcadia School students and staff members took part in The Great Big Crunch. This event was taking part in classrooms and school all across Canada to celebrate March as Nutrition Month. The emphasis was to promote the apple as not only a highly nutritious food but also a locally grown product. At an assembly, students and staff members at Arcadia School were given apples and, after a countdown, all ‘crunched’ together.
